 Hey guys another week has come and gone. Sorry didn't get around to writting a message last week so we're gonna hit a double this week!!!

Monday-Tuesday of last week had intercambios (exchanges) with the APs and they for real taught us how to focus on baptism at every moment. On Monday with elder Flor from Equador and then elder Mecvoy from California, USA. Now we have 4 baptism dates 🤷‍♂️ and are continuing to put down fechas!📆 What a blessing to have them come all the way to Huamachuco and have exchanges with us.
We visited some ruins called Marcahuamachuco and it was just amazing check out the flicks.

Then throughout the rest of the week we slowly dropped everybody because they are not actually interested💀 But what is happening is we are finding people like never before so eventually we gotta have a fecha (baptismal date) at one point!!! 

So this last week we had more intercambios but with our Zone Leaders. So we just got hit with double exchanges. But man I had so much fun this time because I ended up showing the zone leaders what the AP's we're wanting. Well the best I could. 😅 So my exchange was with an elder named elder Garay, from icka not inca, and my comp went with elder Silva, from Utah, on Tuesday. We had quite a lot of bathroom trips hahaha. We ended up playing a lot of spikeball together and just had a fun time.

Then we found out the other elders were having a hard time together so we had some intercambios with them. I went to their area with another white boy from Idaho though. We put down two more fechas (baptismal dates)

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT: "Trust in the lord for good things to come." -Holland. You can only trust in good things to come when you are diligent and work hard. Only then good things will come. God blesses the worker but gives miracles to the diligent and faithful. So when you don't feel like you have enough left in you. You will be left surprised to still be standing when you expected to fall ages ago. Trust in our lord and savior because he is our Rock. Love you guys.

The work is moving along here, now we have a baptism date and she is just the coolest. We're hoping she can move her baptism sooner to this week . This week we have transfers and I swear if we get moved out before we baptize her I will flip out. It has taken so much work to get this place running again...  Well Tuesday started off a little bummy because that was the day that we were supposed to receive our carnets and all the other boys in my group did. BUT I DIDN'T. Let me help you picture what this place is like. It looks just like a dmv, with letters and numbers saying who goes next. Every single number is just randomized and it looks like a mess. I would argue that this place, called migrations, is worse than the DMV . The sad part was, I wasted my time in that office waiting like everyone else but did not get my brownie card . next week.   Whats up guys!! Hope everyone is having a great week this week because I feel like last week just ended. We had a busy week so maybe thats why it felt so fast. We've turned into robots. Finding people has become a rhythm. We just visit all the parks around here because 1 they are beautiful, and 2 it is where people go when they have extra time. As with the title we used the Spanish phrase at the top a lot. Which means, we don't want to take more of your time, which was just for us to stop talking with them to find some more people. The work is hard out here, especially when people love to talk about God and Jesus but never want to accept what we've asked of them. But at least we're spreading the gospel out here!!   Well the sweet and dreadful transfers happened last week... luckily me and my companion are staying another transfer!! My area here has been a real stick in the neck and frustrating, and brown. Not counting how much of a baby mission it is with food cooked for us for two meals and laundry done and folded by someone else... I've been trying to find the good here in where I'm at. Like the food            But trying to teach people who don't want to do anything we ask them to, can really getcha. People's agency is important to God, but sometimes I wish I could just get people to keep their promises... But God has a plan, a plan that is so perfect that even his most rebellious and disruptive child cannot stop the joys we have waiting for us after this life. This week was real boring and we have mostly had lessons with people who we are dropping. It's hard to look at your work and say you're doing a good job when there really isn't anything to show.
