Wow guys I cannot believe that my training is coming to an end here... Next week I get moved to the big boy missionary grounds so looking forward to what lies ahead
December has begun I hope everyone is taking advantage of celebrating Christmas. This week has been a pretty interesting week as we basically dropped all our friends from the transfer as none of them wanted to keep our promises. So all week we set out to find, and find, and find. Sadly we couldn't manage to hang onto anyone yet but we are doing our best out here. Everyone is in too much of a Christmas spirit or something

So now its time for story time... All that happened happened yesterday. Buckle up because it gets pretty funky.
Our day started off with a visit from the wife of the landlord. We had been playing with this little Peruvian trumpos (toy tops) and apparently had been making all the neighbors mad with how loud they were banging on the ground...
So we've been more careful about making noise here because it turns out that Peruvians actually like the quiet, but want to be quiet. I haven't had a quiet day since I arrived here in Peru but I guess that's just Peru
So the for the most part the rest of the day went pretty normal. Had church then left to go watch a baptism that the sisters from our ward had planned. This baptism went well up until the very end when it was time for the missionaries to share their purpose and what they do. This lady sitting at the very front in a bright pink jacket, golden cross rings on every finger, and enough face cream to make her face look like a silver robot, asked us a question. "What is faith?" The sister missionaries replied with a banger response but the grandma then proceeded to tell everyone in the room the mistake her children had made by getting baptized and by the fruits of their faith they will come to realize the truth. Luckily we finally got it under control and finished as normal as we could make it... Man that was a weird experience
