Fwd: Found out my pension has a ghost..

Hey guys I'm so sorry for the little weeks we've been missing together. I am trying lock in 🔐 on the weekly email. Because I know you all enjoy them!


SPIRITUAL THOUGHT👻💭:
   So for today I wanna talk a little about these peeps called Propheta. Because they are some of the biggest, spiritually filled people in this world. And are probably more important than some people realize. 
   To demonstrate their importance I want to talk about that moment where Jesus went to be baptised by John the Baptist. These are some scriptures

Matthew 3:13
   Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him.
Mark 1:7
   And [Jhon] preached, saying, There cometh one mightier than I after me, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to stoop down and unloose.

   One of our greatest upfronts or obsticales in preaching the word is coming across the phrase "Oh, well I already read my bible," "Oh, well I already pray" or "Oh well I already feel really connected to God" but it always leads me to asking them, well didn't Jesus do the same?

   Who in this world can say that they prayed more than Jesus did, or read more than Jesus did. Went out into Gods creation to connect with His Father. Or even filled his life with good deeds more the the Son of God. And yet Jesus still went out of his way to find his cousin John the Baptist to be baptised. So my question always was, why did Jesus, who is the word, who has all authority, all power, go to John and be baptised. John knew this and felt unworthy to baptize his cousin. So what is it that John had that Jesus did not.

   Well humbly, Jesus knew that he had not yet been appointed as prophet, therefore the person who held more authority to direct the world in that moment was John the baptist. He baptized because God had appointed him as prophet to work this work. John was the prophet and the way to salvation through his work of baptism! How humble was the Son of God, knowing he was single to his Father in Heaven in glory, still got baptized by his prophet. 

   So I invite each of you to get to know the prophet because they hold the keys to our salvation. They guide us to our Father in Heaven because he is the mouth of Jesus. Learn of them, come to know their teachings because they are the teachings of Jesus. Pray for confirmation that his prophet today is Dallin H Oaks and you will be surprised by your answer. Of this I testify in the name of Jesus Christ amen.

Okok now a little quick updates!!
- I have been on a new level of tired jajaja. I am training a new greenie from the city of Cusco here in Peru. His name is Elder Montañez
- I am still doing the District Leader thing. Pray for the district
- We've been keeping the work up and are teaching a couple cool people. Anggie and Alexandra, Criss, Marisol, David, Gael. Pray for them!

   Little story, we were at our little pension (the lady who gives us lunch and dinner) and I have no idea how it got brought up, but my comp noted he had spotted a little thing move into the shop of the house. And our pension described the little thing perfectly before my comp could say a thing and wow...💀 ya me voy a mi casa...

The work is moving along here, now we have a baptism date and she is just the coolest. We're hoping she can move her baptism sooner to this week . This week we have transfers and I swear if we get moved out before we baptize her I will flip out. It has taken so much work to get this place running again...  Well Tuesday started off a little bummy because that was the day that we were supposed to receive our carnets and all the other boys in my group did. BUT I DIDN'T. Let me help you picture what this place is like. It looks just like a dmv, with letters and numbers saying who goes next. Every single number is just randomized and it looks like a mess. I would argue that this place, called migrations, is worse than the DMV . The sad part was, I wasted my time in that office waiting like everyone else but did not get my brownie card . next week. What made up for it though was spending time with the boys that I had gotten close with in the MTC. So I guess it wasn't all too bad ...

     Hello what is up, we are here with another email, you know I will tell you this it has been a miracle these are actually being written, because my journal is looking real dry and lots of unwritten letters to fam and friends have not been sent... I want to say expect them soon but no promises So to start this weeks email lets hit the  SPIRITUAL THOUGHT :    Like I mentioned in last weeks email I will be picking a theme, word, idea, whatever and focus on that theme for the month! This months word is PRAYER.     Okok so like what even is prayer and why do we even do it. The scriptures tell us it is a way of communication between us and God, and an obvious example of this is, if course, with Jesus Christ!
