Wow... yeah so we'll get into the title in just a minute (Drunk guys, wings, transfers, and tortilla fight). Helloo everyone, what a great week of GOZO (joy) it has been! We've been moving along great up here in my 3rd Transfer of Huamachuco. The rain here has been absolutely killer latley. I'm pretty sure that Huamachuco might just be taking Utahs water so sorry about that hehe.

Okok so lets begin,

Monday night came home to our fire alarm going crazy. Don't worry we were all fine, we actually think it got triggered by the trash as we were compensating and cleaning up for the other elders. Who knew how dirty 4 people could be 🤷‍♂️

Tuesday was the day we received news about our transfers. But before all of that we had some amazing lessons, but way far... so we walked a lot. On the way in between lessons we got called over by a couple drunkards who wanted to talk to us about the state of America. Little did they know that, we are some sheltered white boys because we not in America... This night we got to go eat some amazing wings , called alitas cevichadas. Yeah I'm a fein for peruvian food. Then we received transfer news where I am staying in Huamachuco for a 3rd... wow I wanna go... but the news is onky one of the elders was leaving so we celebrated our last day together by doing the tortilla fight trend found here

Wednesday, i hit my 7 months nothing crazy

Thursday was our transfer day and we received a new elder, se llama elder Herrrera. And if any of you can keep up, this guy was my Zone Leader in my first two transfers, and was also there the day i stepped of the plane into trujillo from lima. So excited for this transfer with him.

Friday we had two Noche de Hogars or family home evenings. They were amazing!!! In between each family home evening we had english class 👨‍🏫 . PEOPLE FINALLY CAME! We taught about the basics. Our last family home evening was literally just eating food. We ate something called pollo saltado. It was gas of course!!

Saturday we ate some good crepes. They were also quite gas ️

Spiritual thought :

Well since I'll be staying another transfer, I wanna make this spiritual thought about the steadiness of God and what that means for us

So for the most part many of you already know of the verses that talk of how God "is the same today, and tomorrow, and forever" Moroni 10:7

So what does that mean. God will not change. God will not even budge of shake or tumble. He stands on firm ground and asked us to stand where he stands. So in other words, God is consistent, doesn't matter where you stand or where you think he should be, God stands tall above all. What does God stand on... only the truth and righteousness, and mercy and justice. We must learn to be consistent and steady like God the father and his so. We know that only through Jesus can we stand on a firm foundation.

Ok in closing, let Jesus be your example, and chose to follow him with faith. And maybe if you don't quite have faith yet, hope that his light is sufficient. Love you guys!!

WFW (weird food of the week)

- so I ate some Duck. Now some of your are like, "what thats bot that weird" but wait there's more. The way they cook it makes the muscles and tendons really elastically. So while eating we were getting whipped in the face. Pretty funny if you can imagine it hahaha.
