Hellos to everyone who actually reads these!! Your some real ones🫵😜 Not a whole lot has happened this last week other than the fact that Elder Jacobsen and I have been walking around basically all day trying to get friends to remember and come to church. Luckily it pulled off because we had 4 asistences. So we matched our record. And hoping that it only grows from here on out.

     So yeah if you thought this update was boring send me an email, or audio (or even update of how your week went...) Luckily I know most of you won't send an email at all😌 

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT👻💭:
     Today I wanna talk about Truth and who is right in such a confused world with so many different views (whether they be skewed or not). So to start I want to know what is truth!! 

A quote by Francis Bacon in Harvard Classic vol. 3, makes an amazing statement of Truth by saying "
     Yet truth, which only doth judge itself, teacheth that the inquiry of truth, which is the love-making or wooing of it, the knowledge of truth, which is the presence of it, and the belief of truth, which is the enjoying of it, is the sovereign good of human nature.”
     Wow what a complicated phrase but maybe I can help a little! Truth, is truth. No matter what people say, truth judgeth itself by the correctness and 100% validity of what it is. In other words "Truth is Knowledge" as Elder John H Vandenberg stated in a general conference talk of "What is Truth" in 1978 (Go read it, its absolutely fire🔥). 

     Now that we understand what exactly truth is, quick recap its a perfect knowledge of things happened, happening, and things that will happen. So with this understanding of truth, who is really telling the truth... 
   I'll tell you that it isn't your 3 year old hiding his crummy messy hands👐 as he tries to tell you he didn't eat any cookies🍪. But maybe it isn't the parent either, because they just don't have the complete perspective. Yes they may have a mostly complete understanding in order to make a decision but they don't have the complete truth. There are things that happen that are outside the understanding of that parent. For example it may turn out that your 6 year old son after trying to find the bread🍞 to make his sandwich🥪, pulled out the cookies🍪 and left them on the table. 

     The thing is that you just cannot be the one to declare full truth, ever... and sorry that example was long🤤 but I hope it painted the picture well enough. So who has the right to declare difinitive truth. Well as you've probably guessed it would be God. Who stands above all and in all. Who can see the exact truth of things and in turn wants to give us the exact truth of things. And so I invite each of you (whether its been a long time or not) pray to have the truth of all things given to you. BUT DO NOT PRAY, to have your truth confirmed. Counsel with the Lord with all you do and he will suffice. 
3 Nephi 14:7 
Ask, and it shall be given unto you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
     I bear you my witness of the truthfulness of this gospel, and the truth that God holds. Ask him in all things and ye will receive.

- 2 Nephi 32 (only 9 verses)
- 3 Nephi 14 (a little longer...)

But love you all so much, don't get blinded by the noise of the world because it is never worth it. But here are the weekly deets/stats

The work is moving along here, now we have a baptism date and she is just the coolest. We're hoping she can move her baptism sooner to this week . This week we have transfers and I swear if we get moved out before we baptize her I will flip out. It has taken so much work to get this place running again...  Well Tuesday started off a little bummy because that was the day that we were supposed to receive our carnets and all the other boys in my group did. BUT I DIDN'T. Let me help you picture what this place is like. It looks just like a dmv, with letters and numbers saying who goes next. Every single number is just randomized and it looks like a mess. I would argue that this place, called migrations, is worse than the DMV . The sad part was, I wasted my time in that office waiting like everyone else but did not get my brownie card . next week.   Whats up guys!! Hope everyone is having a great week this week because I feel like last week just ended. We had a busy week so maybe thats why it felt so fast. We've turned into robots. Finding people has become a rhythm. We just visit all the parks around here because 1 they are beautiful, and 2 it is where people go when they have extra time. As with the title we used the Spanish phrase at the top a lot. Which means, we don't want to take more of your time, which was just for us to stop talking with them to find some more people. The work is hard out here, especially when people love to talk about God and Jesus but never want to accept what we've asked of them. But at least we're spreading the gospel out here!!   Well the sweet and dreadful transfers happened last week... luckily me and my companion are staying another transfer!! My area here has been a real stick in the neck and frustrating, and brown. Not counting how much of a baby mission it is with food cooked for us for two meals and laundry done and folded by someone else... I've been trying to find the good here in where I'm at. Like the food            But trying to teach people who don't want to do anything we ask them to, can really getcha. People's agency is important to God, but sometimes I wish I could just get people to keep their promises... But God has a plan, a plan that is so perfect that even his most rebellious and disruptive child cannot stop the joys we have waiting for us after this life. This week was real boring and we have mostly had lessons with people who we are dropping. It's hard to look at your work and say you're doing a good job when there really isn't anything to show.
