Whatup whatup!! Hello everyone to another wonderful week of gran gozo!!! (for the record and a little background, my comp hates that phrase so much so much :) We have exciting news!!! Nothing happened we put a baptismal date for march 8th but she didn't come to church and three of our lessons with her fell through. Her name is Angie so pray for her please

Little context with the title... like I said last week we are now in what's called "carnivales"

Annnd if you didn't read last week's email then I will indulge a little here. This is how our typical day of this week went. We get ready in the mornin with our fresh white shirts crisp formal ties and of course the badge of our savior over our hearts, just after taking a lovely cold shower. Feeling refreshed and ready we walk the streets looking for people to contact. Little did we know that children for carnivales will stand on top of their 4 floor houses sitting with their water balloons ready to throw them at unsuspecting white boys with fresh white shirts, crisp ties, and Jesus tags, walking down the street. In other words the missionaries... oh and I forgot to mention sometimes they fill it with paint . The entire week we are just playing dodgeball with this kids hurling paint loaded water balloons at us. And just like Jason bond we be dodging them for real, only they splash and get all over us anyway. So i bet none of you have ever seen some paint colored missionaries hahaha.

Spiritual thought:

So with the theme on paint colored water balloons I want to talk about the Atonement of Jesus Christ and why we as christians have such strong faith in him. So like I said above paint with white shirts is not ideal, and in fact can cause lots of problems. I mean as most you mothers 🙂‍↕️ understand. Our lives are like these white shirts, satan and his followers are like those little boys on top of buildings tossing their temptations at us. Sometimes they hit the ground with a big splash and we catch a lick of it but other times it may land directly on top of our heads.

This is a time where we need to pay attention. YOU ALL NEED TO BE SPIRITUALLY AWARE OF THE CHILDREN THROWING BALLOONS AT YOU. Because if you don't your shirt will be stained in bright blues and purples and even reds. Sadly we cannot avoid all these terrible painted balloons thrown by children... sometimes we may need to call upon our pension, or Jesus, to wash our shirts. Bow i will tell you that Jesus will be more forgiving than your pension when giving him your paint stained white clothing... but just remember that it is still necessary to walk to him or come to him to give him your clothes.

In the testimonies of the three witnesses it says

And we know that if we are faithful in Christ, we shall rid our garments of the blood of all men, and be found spotless before the judgment-seat of Christ, and shall dwell with him eternally in the heavens.

So be faithful and understand that Jesus can rid all your sins and clean each of our garments from our paint stained shirts.

WFW (weird food of the week)

- Ok so this week i got to try this really interesting Maracuya (passion fruit) type food. I'll tell you that it tasted like snot
