What is up peeps!!! Another week has gone by and we are another week closer to Christmas! A little quick update in case none of you were counting there is t-minus 10 days left till Christmas. Wow where has the time gone...

Ok ok lets start the email so this past week we had the lovely opportunity of transfers. And would you believe it or not I left my area California Trujillo and officially out of training. Shout out to you papasito Nicoll!!! So Wednesday I was still in California saying goodbye to all the great friends I made there which was lowkey kinda sad😢 Nicoll and I thought that I was going to be staying and him leaving but we've come yo find out that our president is quite a funny guy... 
So Thursday I got to find out what area I'm going to and who my companion will be. When it was my turn to find out I got called up and told my area is Huamachuco!! Huamachuco is so far away that when transfers roll around the elders who are staying in huamachuco don't come down so I didn't get to meet my comp till I got to Huamachuco.

So a little explaining needs to be done about this place because it is coveted by some Elders... cough*cough* elder nicoll... This area is so freaking high up in the mountains, about a 4 hour climb into the mountains and the area is absolutely gorgeous up here (sorry nicoll) I underestimated how cold it gets up here so my first night I slept with my sheets under me and my my sheet blanket over me. Was not enough😅🥶. The work up here is a lot slower because we only have a branch here but the cool part about that is that we baptize in a flippin lake🏞!!

My comp for this area Is a native... my first one, and he knows like no spanish. We're cooking up here but man I go to bed absolutely exhausted. His name is Elder Ramirez and he es muy negro!  Everyone here calls us el negro y blanco. (So Grandma that's Spanish for the black and white) He is Dominican Republican and wooo he speaks, hard to understand, Apanish. But lowkey love this guy lots!

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT: Ok ok sorry I know I missed my thought last week but I'm going to keep this one short, and about Christmas! So lately I've been trying to memorize verses in Spanish and the one I've got done right now is 3 Nephi 15:9 

"Behold, I am the law ⚖️, and the light 🔦. Look👀 unto me, and endure to the end, and ye shall live; for unto him that endureth to the end will I give eternal life🧬."

Wow, wow, wow, Jesus is the light guys and I testify that if we look to him in our lives then the life we have will be ours for ever. No one will be able to take that away from you.

The work is moving along here, now we have a baptism date and she is just the coolest. We're hoping she can move her baptism sooner to this week . This week we have transfers and I swear if we get moved out before we baptize her I will flip out. It has taken so much work to get this place running again...  Well Tuesday started off a little bummy because that was the day that we were supposed to receive our carnets and all the other boys in my group did. BUT I DIDN'T. Let me help you picture what this place is like. It looks just like a dmv, with letters and numbers saying who goes next. Every single number is just randomized and it looks like a mess. I would argue that this place, called migrations, is worse than the DMV . The sad part was, I wasted my time in that office waiting like everyone else but did not get my brownie card . next week. What made up for it though was spending time with the boys that I had gotten close with in the MTC. So I guess it wasn't all too bad ...

  Whats up guys!! Hope everyone is having a great week this week because I feel like last week just ended. We had a busy week so maybe thats why it felt so fast. We've turned into robots. Finding people has become a rhythm. We just visit all the parks around here because 1 they are beautiful, and 2 it is where people go when they have extra time. As with the title we used the Spanish phrase at the top a lot. Which means, we don't want to take more of your time, which was just for us to stop talking with them to find some more people. The work is hard out here, especially when people love to talk about God and Jesus but never want to accept what we've asked of them. But at least we're spreading the gospel out here!!   Well the sweet and dreadful transfers happened last week... luckily me and my companion are staying another transfer!! My area here has been a real stick in the neck and frustrating, and brown. Not counting how much of a baby mission it is with food cooked for us for two meals and laundry done and folded by someone else... I've been trying to find the good here in where I'm at. Like the food            But trying to teach people who don't want to do anything we ask them to, can really getcha. People's agency is important to God, but sometimes I wish I could just get people to keep their promises... But God has a plan, a plan that is so perfect that even his most rebellious and disruptive child cannot stop the joys we have waiting for us after this life. This week was real boring and we have mostly had lessons with people who we are dropping. It's hard to look at your work and say you're doing a good job when there really isn't anything to show.
