 Yeah I'll get to the title eventually. I'm gonna be quick with this one but this week was filled with ups and downs. 

I'll start with the downs
We started our week finding 2 people, then could not find anyone else until Saturday night where we found 1...

Then the highs
Me and Nicoll had lots of bonding time together as father and son (he's my trainer). That has truly been a blessing, having him makes this transfer feel like it flew by. 
We also extended 3 baptism dates this week all of them are so resdy but only 1 accepted. To be fair the one that accepted had been to church for nearly 5 or 6 months and the only thing that was keeping her from getting baptized is gone so thats amazing. One of the two that didn't accept went to church with us. She previously had a date but now wants to be more prepared. The last one makes sense because she really doesn't know much about God or Religion so we'll keep teaching them.

So in our area we have some of the nicest houses in all of Trujillo. And its boogie... we met this new member who's name is Johnny. This guy is so cool, he wanted so bad to serve a mission but found out he was too old to. So now he just loves to help out the missionaries here. My guy is 25, with 3 businesses, probably a private jet because he lives in Lima and comes to Trujillo for church every fricken week, and makes about a mil every year. The best part is, he offered me and my comp a spot in his business!! So guess I found out what I'm doing...
We love Johnny as he has helped us so much. 

Absolutely loved this week having lessons with members is truly such a blessing for us and breaks up our days. Also one last thing before spiritual thought, if you see missionaries on the street. PLEASE SAY HI!! It makes our day truly because normally we get berating at. Well for those who want to stick around for the SP please do.

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT: So this week I studied more about what our purpose here as messengers of the gospel is supposed to look like. I listened to the talk by Bradley Wilcox called "oh youth of the noble birthright" from 20204 October which I recommend a lot. Our purpose here is to be different of the world, because we have been given his trust. Trust is something we face daily as humans. So some people like to put trust in things that can see. But when we invest our trust in God and his son we can change to become someone happier, more joyful. Peace comes to my mind when I think deeply about what Jesus would have done. Whatever we think is enough, more could be done, and Jesus gave the extra. So my invitation to you all, is to give that little extra. When you do, wash all the plates in the sink instead of just your own, open the door for everyone not just your family, or help clean up instead of just cleaning your stuff, I guarantee that Jesus will bless you in ways you didn't think possible. Love your enemy, because they are great in the sight of God. When I think my little portion of support or help is enough I remember that Jesus would have done it all. I wanna say these things in the name of Jesus Christ amen.

The work is moving along here, now we have a baptism date and she is just the coolest. We're hoping she can move her baptism sooner to this week . This week we have transfers and I swear if we get moved out before we baptize her I will flip out. It has taken so much work to get this place running again...  Well Tuesday started off a little bummy because that was the day that we were supposed to receive our carnets and all the other boys in my group did. BUT I DIDN'T. Let me help you picture what this place is like. It looks just like a dmv, with letters and numbers saying who goes next. Every single number is just randomized and it looks like a mess. I would argue that this place, called migrations, is worse than the DMV . The sad part was, I wasted my time in that office waiting like everyone else but did not get my brownie card . next week.   Whats up guys!! Hope everyone is having a great week this week because I feel like last week just ended. We had a busy week so maybe thats why it felt so fast. We've turned into robots. Finding people has become a rhythm. We just visit all the parks around here because 1 they are beautiful, and 2 it is where people go when they have extra time. As with the title we used the Spanish phrase at the top a lot. Which means, we don't want to take more of your time, which was just for us to stop talking with them to find some more people. The work is hard out here, especially when people love to talk about God and Jesus but never want to accept what we've asked of them. But at least we're spreading the gospel out here!!   Well the sweet and dreadful transfers happened last week... luckily me and my companion are staying another transfer!! My area here has been a real stick in the neck and frustrating, and brown. Not counting how much of a baby mission it is with food cooked for us for two meals and laundry done and folded by someone else... I've been trying to find the good here in where I'm at. Like the food            But trying to teach people who don't want to do anything we ask them to, can really getcha. People's agency is important to God, but sometimes I wish I could just get people to keep their promises... But God has a plan, a plan that is so perfect that even his most rebellious and disruptive child cannot stop the joys we have waiting for us after this life. This week was real boring and we have mostly had lessons with people who we are dropping. It's hard to look at your work and say you're doing a good job when there really isn't anything to show.
